Model: Home-built scanning probe microscopy instrument


Specifications:

  • Sample stage and a pipette holder mounted, respectively, on an X-Y (Nano-M250, MadCityLabs) and a Z (Nano-MET10, MadCityLabs) piezoelectric positioners with motorized stages for coarse positioning (Mini Micro-Platform, MadCityLabs)
  • Home-built potentiostat featuring current collectors with a sensitivity of 1nA/V, and a data collection system (PCIe-7856R FPGA card, National Instruments)
  • The platform in mounted on a ZEISS Axio Vert.A1 inverted microscope coupled with a microscopy Camera AxioCam ERc 5s Rev.2
  • The microscope is mounted on an antivibration bench (MinusK – 25BM-8)
  • Faraday cage equipped with acoustic and thermal insulation (not seen in picture for clarity)
